چکیده

Sonoelasticity imaging uses low-frequency (100-Hz) viSince low-frequency longitudinal waves have wavelengths that brations in tissue and Doppler imaging of vibration patterns to detect are too large compared with organs of interest at the frequencies and define hard tumors. Fundamental theoretical considerations of used in sonoelasticity imaging [3], we have chosen to concentrate sonoelasticity imaging are reviewed in this article, to predict the image on shear waves. Sonoelasticity imaging: theory and experimental verification.

Sonoelasticity is a rapidly evolving medical imaging technique for visualizing hard tumors in tissues. In this novel diagnostic technique, a low-frequency vibration is externally applied to excite internal vibrations within the tissue under inspection. A small stiff inhomogeneity in a surrounding tissue appears as a disturbance in the normal vibration eigenmode pattern. By employing a properly ...

Segmentation of Magnetic Resonance Brain Imaging Based on Graph Theory

Introduction: Segmentation of brain images especially from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an essential requirement in medical imaging since the tissues, edges, and boundaries between them are ambiguous and difficult to detect, due to the proximity of the brightness levels of the images. Material and Methods: In this paper, the graph-base...

Application of numerical methods to elasticity imaging.

Elasticity imaging can be understood as the intersection of the study of biomechanical properties, imaging sciences, and physics. It was mainly motivated by the fact that pathological tissue presents an increased stiffness when compared to surrounding normal tissue. In the last two decades, research on elasticity imaging has been an international and interdisciplinary pursuit aiming to map the ...

Application of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) as a safe & Application of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) as a safe & non-destructive method for monitoring of fruit & vegetable in postharvest period

To investigate and control quality, one must be able to measure quality-related attributes. Quality of produce encompasses sensory attributes, nutritive values, chemical constituents, mechanical properties, functional properties and defects. MRI has great potential for evaluating the quality of fruits and vegetables. The equipment now available is not feasible for routine quality testing. The ...

Accelerating Magnetic Resonance Imaging through Compressed Sensing Theory in the Direction space-k

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive imaging method widely used in medical diagnosis. Data in MRI are obtained line-by-line within the K-space, where there are usually a great number of such lines. For this reason, magnetic resonance imaging is slow. MRI can be accelerated through several methods such as parallel imaging and compressed sensing, where a fraction of the K-space lines...
